How to edit a job requisition

In this video, we will explore how to edit a job in Covers. If your Clover instance, has an integration with an applicant tracking system, then you should edit the job within your ATS.

Editing a job requisition

To enable closed captioning, click settings in the lower right of the video below, and under Closed Captions, toggle the button to ON.

NOTE: Any changes made in your ATS will flow automatically into Clovers. If you do not have an applicant tracking system integrated with Covers, you can make changes to the job manually.

Editing a job requisition

  1. Click on Jobs at the horizontal menu at the very top screen
  2. Find the job you would like to edit and click a view job.
  3. The job can be edited by clicking on any of the edit pencils that appear in the basic section of the page
    1. Editing the interview template will change the questions that appear in the interview guide
    2. Editing the division and job location helps make search filters more accurate
    3. Here, you're also able to change the hiring team. You can replace the hiring manager, remove or replace the recruiter or add or remove hiring team members
    4. Make sure to always save the changes that you make
  4. To delete the job, you can click on the hamburger menu located at the upper right-hand corner of the basic section.
  5. You will be prompted to confirm before it is officially deleted. Note that deleting the job will also delete the candidate applications associated with the job, which includes interviews.
